21-Year-Old Woman Hospitalized after San Diego Crash on College Avenue
San Diego, California (September 4, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a Friday night traffic accident that left a 21-year-old woman seriously injured in San Diego.
The major injury accident occurred at about 11:02 p.m., on September 2, in the 4900 block of College Avenue.
According to the police, the woman was driving southbound in a Toyota Camry with an officer driving behind her in the next lane.
The woman reportedly made a U-turn from her lane in front of the officer. Unfortunately, the officer struck the left front of the Camry.
As a result of the crash impact, the officer struck two other parked cars on the northbound side of the street.
The woman was seriously injured in the accident and was hospitalized for treatment. The police officer suffered a cut to the left side of his head.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
