Woman Hurt in Fairfield Car Accident on Peabody Road
Fairfield, California (September 20, 2022) – One person sustained major injuries in a traffic collision that occurred on Monday morning in Fairfield, according to the Fairfield Fire Department.
The incident was reported just before 11:30 a.m. September 19, on Peabody Road.
According to the report, a vehicle and a dump truck were involved in the collision, whose cause was not immediately established.
Firefighters extricated a woman from the vehicle after she was trapped in the wreckage.
The woman was then transported to a trauma center with major injuries.
The road was shut down for nearly one and a half hours as crews worked at the scene.
The authorities are conducting an investigation to establish what caused the crash.
