Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in San Diego Accident on Pershing Drive
San Diego, California (September 22, 2022) – A woman suffered major injuries when the motorcycle she was riding on collided with a vehicle in San Diego on Wednesday afternoon, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The wreck happened at around 2:20 p.m. September 21, in the 1900 block of Pershing Drive.
Police said a 31-year-old woman was riding a 2020 Ducati motorcycle south on Pershing Drive when she was sideswiped by a 2015 GMC pickup truck driven by a 75-year-old man.
According to the report, the woman was transported to a hospital with a pelvic fracture.
The truck driver did not sustain any injury in the incident.
The San Diego Police Department is investigating the collision.
