Bakersfield, California (December 30, 2021) – One person died and another was injured after they fell into a ditch while working on a septic tank in Bakersfield on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened on Colene Street at about 2:30 p.m., according to the Kern County Fire Department.
The two were working on a septic tank at a home on Colene Street when they fell.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another was airlifted to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
