Worker Killed in Port of Long Beach Accident on Mediterranean Way
Long Beach, California (January 16, 2022) – The authorities are working to determine what caused an industrial accident that left a worker dead at the Port of Long Beach on Saturday afternoon.
The incident was reported in the 300 block of Mediterranean Way at around 3:45 p.m. January 15.
The worker was reportedly struck by an unknown-type vehicle under unclear circumstances.

Firefighters and medics immediately responded to the scene and determined that the worker was deceased.
The identity of the victim was not released.
