Colbert, WA – At least one person is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 2 in Colbert, according to Washington State Patrol (WSP).
WSP said the deadly crash occurred at about 4:13 p.m. on northbound Highway 2 (N Newport Highway), six miles north of Spokane.
As per the WSP, two vehicles collided and at least one person died in the crash.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
The northbound lanes of Highway 2 were completely blocked, and the southbound were partially blocked as crews worked at the scene.
No additional information was provided.
The crash is under investigation.
