1 Suffers Major Injuries in Yuba City Car Crash on Highway 99 near Franklin Avenue

Yuba City, California (October 27, 2021) – An early morning Yuba City car crash on Highway 99 left one person with major injuries, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The two-vehicle crash transpired at about 2:05 a.m. on Wednesday in the northbound lanes near Franklin Avenue.
A Hyundai Elantra and a Honda car collided under unclear circumstances. One of the vehicles ended up in a ditch, about 15 feet off the roadway.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and helped one person who sustained major injuries.
Authorities had not yet established the cause of the collision at the time of the collision, but they are investigating.
