1 Sustains Serious Injuries in Browns Valley Crash on Highway 20 near Peoria Road
Yuba County, California (October 3, 2021) – One person was airlifted to the hospital after a head-on collision that took place Sunday morning in Browns Valley, an unincorporated community in Yuba County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the Highway 20 crash occurred at around 6:25 a.m. in the westbound lanes near Peoria Road.
For unknown reasons, a Honda Civic collided head-on with a van and overturned onto its roof.

Firefighters responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance to transport one person who suffered compound fractures to the hospital. The patient was hospitalized at Sutter Roseville Medical Center in an unknown condition.
It was not clear if there was anyone else who was injured in the accident.
